Level B1 – Intermediate (120 hours total)
Each module includes 40 total hours, distributed in 30 hours of guided class and 10 hours of digital self-study, with access to interactive resources, practice activities and technological self-assessments.
B1.1 Getting to Know the World and Sharing Experiences
The student learns to describe environments, compare places, talk about people, express preferences, intentions, and obligations. Past and present tenses are introduced with a focus on real and spontaneous communication.
Goal: To handle everyday situations, share personal experiences, and describe events clearly.
Includes: online interactive practice on ser/estar, perfect tense, comparatives, duty and obligation, gustar and guided conversation sessions.
B1.2 Narratives, Opinions and Perspectives
The student develops the ability to tell stories, relate past events, and express personal opinions or assessments. Focus on past tenses and discourse connectors.
Goal: To communicate past experiences, justify opinions, and participate in conversations on personal or social topics.
Includes: digital platform practice with storytelling activities, guided listening, and discussion forums.
B1.3 Plans, Hypotheses and Advanced Communication
The student learns to talk about the future, give advice, make hypotheses, and express probability or doubt using conditional and basic subjunctive structures. Focus on fluency and accuracy in extended discourse.
Goal: To participate fluently in conversations involving opinions, wishes, and arguments; to understand more complex messages and write coherent texts.
Includes: digital simulations, collaborative writing exercises, and progress self-assessments.
